Interhike.com had not had a major design change for over 10 years. So when we decided to re-open the e-commerce shop, we knew that we would need a more modern design to maintain credibility.

As the e-commerce site would be a separate website, and we were not looking to redesign the existing website at all, we wanted a design that maintained the branding with the existing site, but modernised it. The two sites had to be visibly compatible.

Jonathan undertook this project enthusiastically and produced the modern look and feel we were after, whilst keeping to all of our restrictions from the other site.

Jonathan created a very flexible design that would work effectively with a small number of products and categories, whilst also accommodating a much larger range of products and categories without negatively affecting the look and feel, as our product range grows.
